A Little History About..........

"Little River BOATWORLD"

This family business started back in 1966, which at that time included a lodge, 14 cabins, 3 leaky boats and no customers.

Gradually after a lot of hard work and dedication the business was refurbished and the facilities upgraded. New fiberglass boats were available for sale and as word of mouth spread, Boatworld attracted fishermen in the spring and fall and tourist families in the summer to stay at the lodge and cabins.

As the business grew, new docks were added for boat moorage and full RV hookup site was constructed.

In 1975, Boatworld saw the addition of boat and engine sales, parts, service and boat storage. New buildings were built to house the shops, showroom and boat storage for this additional business.

In 1983, the company embarked on an aggressive marketing plan to increase all aspects of the business.  Over the past 14 years, Boatworld has become either Number 1 or 2 top dealer in North America for Campion Boats. Boatworld also has expanded dock capacity to accommodate up to 160+ boats, built additional buildings to store up to 160+ boats in the winter and added new services such as detailing, and retail sales of marine hardware and accessories.

In 2002, Cheryl and Garth Bradstock became the proud new owners of Boatworld.  The Bradstocks continue to grow and expand this business, carrying on the family tradition of superior customer service in the Shuswap area.
