Detail Job

Our busy Marina is in need of a person to help clean, wax and
maintain our fleet of sales and customer boats. The candidate
will also be required to help our customers fuel their boat at the
gas dock, work a cash register and assist around the yard with
clean up and maintenance. The ideal candidate will be able to
multi task in a busy marina environment. This position is seasonal
May - October. Must be available to work weekends. Wage will
be determined based on detail and cleaning experience.



  • - Provide basic info of our boat brands to customer
  • - Be educated on boat packages to provide knowledgeable walk-through’s
  • - Scheduling water demos for sales team
  • - Communicating with customers in person/by phone/digitally

Maintain website:

  • - Work with Sales Manager on look and feel of site
  • - Take quality photo’s/videos of inventory/product to properly display.
  • - Make sure inventory descriptions/specifications are in a clear and concise format for customer to understand.
  • - Work with site provider on keeping site up to date

SEM/Social Media

  • - Work with Sales Manager to maintain standards of Facebook/Instagram
  • - Development of creative assets
  • - Utilizing manufacturer creative assets
  • - Develop content strategy/posting schedule.
  • - Develop social marketing campaigns with Sales Manager.
  • - Create engaging content.

Marine Mechanic

The ideal candidate will have experience in sterndrive, inboard and outboard engines. Must have your own tools, a minimum 1 year Marine mechanic experience and be safety conscious. Certification in Yamaha, Mercury, Mercruiser, Volvo, or Ilmor is an asset. The position can be full time year round, or seasonal.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • - Diagnostics: mechanical, electrical, cooling, fuel…etc.
  • - Rigging of new boats and installing accessories (ladders, downriggers, electronics…etc)
  • - Trailer inspections and repair
  • - Operating and launching boats in a marina environment
  • - Driving trucks with boats (on trailers) around the dealership
  • - Completing accurate work orders and time tickets
  • - Contributing to a company philosophy of continuously improving the business.
